Because of PACsys years of diverse experience and because of product need, PACsys engineering staff provides a service, coupled with strategic hardware that will "seamlessly couple the business system to the factory floor".  They say that necessity is the mother of invention.  It is with this theme that PACsys Operations Server was born.  Plant data is acquired by a data acquisition server.  This server can act as an HMI or operator interface or it can sit just as well in an office.  This computer will then take on multiple functions.  It can act as a database interface to the "upstairs" business system.  It can activate alarms or marquee displays, pagers, emails, etc.  It can also act in the opposite mode and stream recipe or formula data from the business system to the factory floor.  PACsys can implement this system in one or all, or even other variations, as desired or needed for you.
