This server can act as an HMI or operator interface or it can sit just as well in an office. This computer will then take on multiple functions. It can act as a database interface to the "upstairs" business system. It can activate alarms or marquee displays, pagers, emails, etc. It can also act in the opposite mode and stream recipe or formula data from the business system to the factory floor. PACsys can implement this system in one or all, or even other variations, as desired or needed for you.
